WHAT’S MERINO WOOL?

Merino wool is the world’s finest and softest wool. It is a natural fibre grown year-round by Merino sheep, consuming a simple blend of natural ingredients including sunshine, water, fresh air and grass. Every year these sheep produce new fleece, making wool a completely renewable fibre. As a natural fibre, merino wool will break down to its natural base elements and therefore not pollute the oceans and waterways when being washed or discarded. It’s the most sustainable material!
We source extra-fine Merino wool, from farms using sustainable farming practices. Our yarns have obtained the OEKO TEX standard 100 certification. Natural elasticity helps wool garments stretch with your body, yet return to their original shape.

WHY MULESING-FREE WOOL IS SO IMPORTANT TO US?

Mulesing is a painful surgical procedure for sheep and it can be avoided.
For us as a company, animal protection is an important, central theme: that’s why in our products, we use only high-quality Merino wool from farms in New Zealand, which guarantee that the wool we source is Mulesing Free. We only use certified ethical wool.

MERINO WOOL IS SUITABLE FOR EVERY SEASON

Our wool is soft, comfortable and “superwash”, that is machine-washable, and can be used daily in any season. Its properties are amazing: breathable, temperature-regulating, odour-resistant, water-repellent, anti-static, no pilling, naturally anti-bacterial!
Merino wool fibres are extremely fine, enabling them to bend far more than traditional, broader wool fibres. This makes Merino wool feel soft and gentle next to your skin.
